Sara Rogers is a multi-faceted talent who merges a wealth of interdisciplinary experience ranging from interior designer to graphic artist, fine-art painter to home décor store curator. These passions blended, strike a perfect balance of creativity and discipline, giving her clients a unique perspective that has made her a sought-after full-service interior designer.

Located in the mountains of Idaho, her design aesthetic is inspired by the adventurous energy of the west. Sara weaves modern elements with traditional furnishings to create interesting compositions of color, texture and pattern into a fresh classic, yet timeless, theme. She likes to add funky vintage finds and antique treasures to a contemporary esthetic to create casual, comfortable homes that have soul. 

Sara Rogers grew up in a family of visionaries; daughter of an engineer and vibrant home maker, the seventh of eight children. Born and raised in England, she moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of eighteen. Sara was brought up exposed to the creative world and found a love for art, design and architecture at an early age. By eight years old, she had designed and re-designed her dream home thousands of times - finding beauty in the design of Bang & Olufsen audio equipment and was captivated by mid-century modern furniture. She dreamed of one-day owning a black leather Eames chair. That dream came true – Sara is the proud collector of an early-edition chocolate brown and walnut Eames chair and matching ottoman that follows her with every move.

Trained as a graphic designer at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Sara Rogers worked as a senior designer at Nike, and as creative director and partner of Design Metro in Portland, Oregon. Her design clients include Specialized Bicycles, Boora Architects and Merrell Footwear. 

In 1990, Sara Rogers and her family relocated from Portland, Oregon to Hailey, Idaho. Her many years of design experience and history in the Wood River Valley — including Hailey, Ketchum, Bellevue and Sun Valley — makes her the perfect choice to help you with your next residential or commercial project.
